Job Description
A leading provider of software solutions for professional and academic publishers is seeking a Technical Product Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love. This role is based in Oxfordshire. 

Key duties:
• Gain an in-depth understanding of the business, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas
• Translate product strategy into technical requirements and prototypes
• Review specifications and proposed architecture with engineers to deliver products
• Verify feature implementation to confirm compliance with the intended architecture
• Drive product launches including working with the marketing team, product management team as well as external clients
• Prepare training materials and deliver training, acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

Experience / skills required:
• Solid technical background with hands on experience in software development and web technologies
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product through implementation and delivery to market
• Able to gather and understand business requirements and write functional specifications for engineering teams 
• Ability to produce documentation of products for different stake holders
• Strong problem solving skill and skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organisation
