Job Description

A leading B2B publishers is looking for an Editorial and Production Assistant to join their friendly team in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated candidate with some editorial internships or work experience to work across all areas of the editorial and production process.

Key duties:

  • Commission, edit and proof features, helping to plan editorial schedules
  • Coordinate advertising copy to strict deadlines, gaining copy approval from clients
  • Provide assistance to Designer, preparing and checking pages for print
  • Write marketing e-blasts, uploading web content and assisting with social media output
  • Maintain high quality of print and digital publications 

Experience / skills required:

  • Some work experience/internships in an editorial role within magazine publishing is essential
  • Understanding of the editorial process of B2B/magazine publishing
  • Solid organisation skills with the ability to work to strict deadline and manage own workload
  • Excellent written and verbal skills including sub-editing and proofing skills and a meticulous eye for detail
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work, able to use own initiative
  • Good IT skills including MS Office and ideally basic InDesign
