Job Description

A Legal publisher in Yorkshire require legislation editors to read older government legislation and mark up new changes in XML, and report changes to senior managers. These roles are for 6 months, starting ASAP with extensions likely. Based on site in Hebden Bridge. Ideal for legal graduates.

Key duties:

  • View new legislation documents from the government
  • Read through older legislation documents and identify changes to the previous legislation
  • Mark and report the changes in XML back to senior management

Experience / skills required:

  • Law degree and good legal terminology knowledge
  • Good researching skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a thorough approach to work
  • XML & SGML skills desirable as training will be given
