Job Description

A successful B2B publisher is looking for a Journalist to join its fast-growing team in central London and write breaking news with a focus on M&A in the private health sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven business writer to join a world-class brand.

Key duties:

  • Write original daily news for print and online publications and newsletters
  • Report on all aspects of the business of healthcare with a focus on M&A
  • Create and maintain network of contacts over the world including senior business leaders
  • Meet strict deadlines whilst maintaining high quality standards and work ethic
  • Travel locally and internationally when required

Experience / skills required:

  • Experience as a journalist/reporter is required within business/finance publishing ideally
  • Experience of breaking news on the healthcare business industries or M&A ideally
  • Strong numeracy and the ability to work comfortably with numbers
  • Outstanding written and spoken English
  • A proactive and positive attitude with the resilience and confidence to reach senior contacts on the phone
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent and a strong work ethic
