Job Description
A prestigious legal publisher is looking for assistance in their marketing team with a data project. You will be conducting external based research and assisting with the presentation of data with in MS Excel. This is a temporary role to start 27 November until 15 December with possible extensions to help complete the project.  

Key duties:
  • Collect and analyse data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand
  • Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating findings into written text
  • Validate existing organisation and contact led information by conducting web based and telephonic research 
  • Verify that existing contact data has sufficient depth (i.e. Job title, telephone number, email address ETC) 
  • Transfer insight led information into an Access database, thus allowing for potential sales and marketing opportunities
Experience / skills required:
  • Excellent web based research skills 
  • Strong MS Excel
  • Understanding of the correct format for data attributes: e.g correct number of digits for a telephone number, email address formats etc
  • Personable and clear telephone manner
  • Strong attention to detail
