Job Description
A membership body based in central London is looking for a proactive Senior Events Producer to develop and deliver training courses, conferences and other events for its core market of targeted professionals. This role would suit an experienced and confident candidate with a background in B2B/professional/corporate training courses and conferences.


Key duties:

  • Manage portfolio of events, overseeing training courses and producing annual conferences
  • Contribute to events strategy and generate new events ideas, identifying audience’s needs
  • Support and mentor the Events Producer
  • Identify topics for events and engage in speaker research and recruitment
  • Ensure events are within agreed budgets, monitoring performance and ensuring targets are met
  • Work with marketing team to promote events and write events descriptions and programmes
  • Travel and attend events as required


Experience / skills required:

  • Solid experience producing professional/B2B events ideally conferences and training courses
  • Experience in a research or content-led events role for professional markets/corporate environments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor the event producer and build relationships
  • A confident negotiator, able to deal with internal and external stakeholders and manage their expectations
  • Strong organisation and planning skills with an adaptable approach
  • Self-sufficient and proactive, capable individual willing to work in a hands-on role with minimum supervision
