Job Description
A leading academic publisher has a new opening for a Sales Executive to be home based in the Midlands. You will manage sales of key digital products into libraries and academic institutions across the Midlands and the North of England. You will spend at least 50% of your time conducting face to face meetings with faculty staff and department heads in your territory. 

This role has great potential for growth and career development and would suit someone with academic calling experience or good knowledge of academic publishing and who is looking for their next challenge. Key duties:

Build strong relationships and regularly meet with library staff and department heads
Generate leads and drive sales for a range of key digital products
Attend conferences and present at them when necessary
Produce sales reports and give market feedback to Sales Managers
Liaise with marketing colleagues on promotional plans 

Experience / skills required:
Proven experience in academic publishing or software sales
Academic calling experience would be a plus
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills 
Organised and able to work independently  
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
