Job Description
Are you a Sales professional with experience in an events or publishing environment? We have a Sponsorship Sales Manager available with a major membership organisation serving the engineering and technology industries. Based in lovely offices in Hertfordshire, or working from home, you will be responsible for selling sponsorship and exhibition opportunities events, building relationships with new and existing clients.

Key duties:
  • Develop new business and client relationships engaging clients across a range of relevant events and media
  • Identify sales prospects and new business opportunities through understanding the market
  • Manage and maintain client accounts, meeting and exceeding targets
  • Some management of sales executives 
  • Contacting clients to inform of events available and maintaining up-to-date records
  • Assist in setting and delivering the annual sales plan for the event sponsorship sales area 
Experience / skills required:
  • Solid track record in Media/Sponsorship sales with a reputable brand/organisation
  • Experience communicating with senior level decision makers at Blue chip organisations
  • Creative solutions selling experience, developing client relationships, building value
  • Track record of meeting set targets and new business growth
  • Confident and enthusiastic presenter and negotiator, confident in a one to one and group presentation environment
