Do you have financial journalism experience? Are you keen to join a thriving and driven team in their effort to make the publication the number one in the market? Based in central London, you will source daily exclusive news for a dedicated financial market. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious news journalist to join a growing company with a start-up vibe and be part of/benefit from the success of the publication. Key duties:

  • Break exclusive news for daily on line publication
  • Develop and maintain solid relationships with industry contacts
  • Conduct interviews on the phone and face-to-face with senior executives
  • Travel as required to attend conferences and industry events
  • Turn around accurate and engaging copy quickly
  • Upload online content and help managing website


Experience / skills required:

  • Experience as a news reporter/journalist in B2B / trade publication with strong interest in finance
  • A good flair for news and the ability to spot a story in company’s financials
  • Excellent communicator, with a confident approach and the ability to quickly build relationships
  • Ability to write engaging copy quickly
  • An entrepreneurial and self-starter attitude, with a can-do approach to work
  • Flexibility with working hours to cover occasional early shift and ability to travel internationally
