Job Description

We have a great Kickstart opportunity with Duckworth Books, an independent trade publisher of eye-opening memoir, psychology, popular science, history and historical fiction, who is looking for a Publishing Assistant to join their team. If you are highly organised with a critical eye, a willingness to learn, have a love of digital reading, and are proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, this might be the role for you!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Administrative support to the publishing team
  • Editorial and market research
  • Writing copy and designing creative digital assets
  • Maintaining and updating data on our online systems

  • Be 16-24 years old
  • Be on Universal Credit
  • Have an allocated Work Coach at the DWP
  • Not be in full-time education
